Our Commitment to Your Children
Under the guidance of Martha Blume, Director of Children's Ministries, Saint Peter's Cheshire seeks to develop children's spirituality through learning about faith, the Bible, service to the Community and caring for the earth.  Children learn that they are loved by God unconditionally, and that they are heirs of a rich tradition of faith as followers of Christ.

A Child's Way to Faith
Self expression in the context of a spiritual theme is the way children discover their spiritual foundations through drama, stories, a computer lab, and projects in the kitchen.  In all activities, the cornerstone is growth through faith.

Youth Growing Strong Through God's Love
Youth participate in numerous social and service projects, giving their time and energy to others at the same time that they develop relationships among themselves while having fun. The go to the New Haven Green to worship and serve meals to the homeless, and raise funds for community projects.

Confirmation
Also, This year Saint Peter's Youth in grades 9 and 10 will be readying themselves for confirmation.  This is an active discernment involving the minds, hearts, and souls of the youth seeking to commit to the Christian Faith.  Seeking confirmation is truly a time of joy and exploration for youth and their families.
