Rite-13 (7th and 8th grade)
These youth will begin their first year in the Journey to Adulthood program as members of the Rite 13 group. In addition to meeting in the Rite 13 room on Sundays during church school hours (9:30 to 10:15AM) we will have monthly Rite Nite activities, plus worship and service opportunities. The Rite 13 Leaders will be Alan Blume and Lisa Schweitzer.
J2A (9th and 10th grade)
As a continuation of our Journey to Adulthood program, these Rite 13 "graduates" and any new parishioners of this age, will comprise our J2A group. The J2A group will meet with J2A leaders Kim Clarke and Charlie Waggoner on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 AM in our brightly colored youth room. As with Rite Nites in the Rite 13 program, there will be a monthly J2A activity, in addition to worship and service opportunities.
Grade 10 and up
These youth are encouraged to work with Kim Clarke to take a leadership role within the youth program and other ministries within St. Peter's. Participation is desired, and organizational help will be needed in planning many of our youth activities, such as the Pumpkin Patch, U2 Eucharist, Ropes Course and Coffeehouses. On Sunday mornings, please consider being an active part of the Workshop Rotation program assisting Martha Blume, and/or serve as an acolyte, reader or usher- there are many opportunities!
